Following my query earlier this week regarding an incorrect length of brake pipe included in a replacement kit for an XK 140 that I am restoring, I would like to compliment you on your amazing customer service.
It must be some form of record for a company to replace a part, free of charge, that was originally supplied over twenty five years previously. I must admit, I had expected to pay for the replacement parts.
As I explained to the young lady who answered my telephone call, I had purchased the kit about 1975 for an XK 140 that I had obtained for restoration. In common with many such projects, it didn't progress as fast as I had intended. In fact, nothing really happened at all until last summer when the body was rebuilt. Now work is proceeding in earnest.
Once again, many thanks for your unbelievable approach to customer relations.
